YCRCEE, is a non-profit organization fostering transformative growth in children, all while instilling lifelong skills, resilience, curiosity, and confidence in each person we touch. Through pioneering programs and mentorship, our goal is to mold a generation that positively influences their communities. We aspire to be a catalyst for enduring impact, creating a world where every child embraces their potential with joy and purpose.
Our Mission
Our dedication is directed towards supporting underserved communities within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, specifically concentrating on children facing challenges related to resource disparities, crime, and single-parent households. Guided by faith-based principles, our mission is to provide free-of-charge life skills, financial literacy, mentorship, organizational, vocational, and educational support, along with communication tools and therapeutic resources to children aged 7 to 17. Through these efforts, we aim to cultivate empowerment and resilience in the young minds we serve.

Our Founder
Gerald "Gabby" Buyck's commitment to YCRCEE (YCRCEE B.S. Museum) goes beyond his role as its founder. As the CEO of Cowboy Nation Boot Repair, his enthusiasm permeates every project. A recognized children's author, member of the Alabama Council of Arts, and acknowledged by the Emerging Young Businessmen, Gerald is a distinguished serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of success.
Growing up as an economically disadvantaged child in the inner city, Mayor Coleman Young, a former Tuskegee Airman, played a crucial role in supporting various youth arts programs that Gerald actively participated in. Young served as a significant source of inspiration for him, contributing to the development of his appreciation for culture and community. Gerald attributes his enduring passion for people to the supportive environment at Alabama State University, his neighbors, and numerous mentors who generously shared wisdom, knowledge, and discipline in his life.
With a commitment that spans over three decades, Gerald remains dedicated to community involvement and mentorship. His unwavering commitment is evident in his continuous efforts to guide and volunteer with children.
